Midfield ace linked with move

Portsmouth are reported to be lining up a £10m swoop for Tottenham midfielder Didier Zokora after Lassana Diarra joined Real Madrid.

Diarra has on Monday completed his £20million move to Madrid and and Pompey boss Tony Adams is hoping to spend a chunk of that cash on Zokora, who he sees as the perfect replacement.
The Ivory Coast ace has been a regular for Spurs this season but it is thought that boss Harry Redknapp would be willing to let him go if Pompey came in and offered £10million.
Redknapp has his own transfer plans for this January and would be able to use the cash to sign his own transfer targets, with Fulham's Jimmy Bullard the latest to be linked.
