Pav move on hold

Tottenham, 11:59, March 3, 2010

Roman Pavlyuchenko has put all thoughts of his future on hold until the summer as he concentrates on his career at Tottenham.

The Russian striker has spoken of his desire to leave White Hart Lane and was disappointed not to secure a move away during the January transfer window.
However Pavlyuchenko is now starting to get a run in the team and after chipping in with a few crucial goals in recent weeks he has decided to put all thoughts of a transfer to the back of his mind.
Spurs are battling on two fronts as they pursue FA Cup glory and a place in the Champions League and the striker says he must stay focused on that for now.
"I try not to think about my future in the team," Pavlyuchenko told Russian newspaper Sport. "At the moment it is senseless and unprofessional.
"We must finish the season, for which we have clear goals: to win the FA Cup and get into the top four in the Premier League in order to get a ticket to the Champions League. I will start thinking about my future in June."
