Redknapp reacts to Brown talk

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has admitted he is a fan of Celtic midfielder Scott Brown but insists he has not made a bid for him.

Reports over the weekend said Redknapp had been in contact with the SPL giants and was preparing to make a move for the Scotland international.
The Spurs boss admits there could be comings and goings at White Hart Lane this week and, while he is aware of Brown's talents, he says no offer has been lodged.
"I've read I was at Aberdeen on Saturday looking at Celtic's Scott Brown," Redknapp said.
"In fact I was at Chelsea because they played Hull City and we play them on Wednesday. I like Brown but we have not made an enquiry for him."
He added: "I'm sure my phone will be ringing this week with one or two looking to buy players off us.
"If we are offered good money for whoever and can get someone else in to improve us, then we will have a go."
