Spurs striker misfit Roman Pavlyuchenko could be set to join Roma in January with his agent set for talks.
The Russia international is well down the White Hart Lane pecking order and is struggling for game-time because of the presence of Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch and Robbie Keane.
But his representative, Oliver Wendt, is set to meet with officials from Roma imminently.
He told Romagiallorossa.com: "Roman wants to leave London and he wants to go to Roma. If Tottenham allow him to go, Roman could be a Roma player.
"Everything depends on the meeting we will have today or tomorrow with Roma. I had contact with the Roma directors last week too and they showed they were interested."
