Tottenham are ready to turn to veteran Spanish goalkeeper Cesar after dropping their interest in Stephen Bywater.
Spurs appeared to be closing in on a move for the Derby County goalkeeper only to pull out at the last minute and now Ramos has switched his attentions elsewhere.
Reports claim that 36-year-old stopper Cesar is the player Ramos wants after Real Zaragoza were relegated from La Liga last season.
Cesar's representative Arturo Canales says his client would be interested in a move to England but admits there is plenty of talking to be done before a deal goes through.
"The subject is not easy but we are working on a positive solution for all parties," Canales told Sky Sports. "The decision is Zaragoza's but the Premier League is very attractive to the player."
