Harrison makes Rovers return

Tranmere have re-signed midfielder Danny Harrison following his release from Rotherham.

The 29-year-old, who began his career at Prenton Park and made 125 league appearances for Rovers, has signed a one-year deal. Harrison moved to Rotherham in 2007 and played 211 times for the Millers before he was released at the end of the season. He told the club's official website: "I'm really happy to be back at Tranmere. "The club has been a huge part of my life and it will be nice to be playing at Prenton Park again. There's a decent squad here and I think we can be really competitive next season."
