Moore glad to bring up half-century

Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore was happy to pass the 50-point mark for the season after watching his side beat Stevenage 3-0.

Jake Cassidy put them in the driving seat with two goals in the opening 10 minutes and Lucas Akins wrapped up the win late in the second half "That was my first aim when I arrived and now hopefully we will go on to pass 60," said Moore. "It was fantastic. We showed a lot of quality. We had a tremendous start - just what we were looking for. Everything they threw at us we defended well but I wish we had got the third goal a bit sooner."
