Saddlers wait on Taundry

Richard Taundry is pushing for a return to Walsall's team as they host QPR in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
The 23-year-old full-back has missed all three of the Saddlers' league games so far this season with a hamstring injury, but returned to training last Friday and may feature in Dean Smith's squad. Febian Brandy is not expected to be available due to a hamstring injury sustained during the opening-day defeat against Doncaster. Smith has no new injury problems following their 1-0 win at early-season pace-setters Notts County and could name an unchanged team should Taundry fail to prove his fitness. George Bowerman played 25 minutes as a second-half substitute against the Magpies and is first in line to make his first start of the season should Smith opt to make changes. The west Midlands club beat Brentford 1-0 in the previous round and will be looking to cause an upset against Mark Hughes' men at the Banks's Stadium.
