Dickinson joins Pompey

Watford left-back Carl Dickinson has completed a one-month loan move to Portsmouth.

The 25-year-old is no stranger to Fratton Park having made 39 appearances for Pompey during a season-long loan stint from then parent club Stoke in 2010/11. Dickinson could make his debut for the npower League One club in their trip to Stevenage on Tuesday night. Dickinson joined the Hornets from Stoke in the summer of 2011 but having made 41 appearances last term he has found opportunities more difficult to come by under new boss Gianfranco Zola, enjoying just five outings to date this term.
