Watford boss Sean Dyche could not hide his feelings after his side let their unbeaten run slip with a 2-0 defeat at home to Blackpool.

Both sides had gone into the game on a high - the hosts on the back of a seven-match unbeaten run and Blackpool after beating leaders Southampton - and it was the Seasiders who prevailed thanks to Stephen Dobbie's double which left Blackpool nine points clear of the Hornets. Dyche said: "I'm disappointed in our performance. We've gone along very well lately, a couple of hiccups since Christmas but got over that swiftly and had a great run, so I'm disappointed. "The performance wasn't good enough by our standards, we didn't have enough people who really wanted to make a difference and it's important that we focus on that because we've done that well this season. "But I must make it clear, they were the better side. They were the better side first half particularly, second half it became a little bit more even but I don't want to start taking anything away from their performance."
