Watford defender Jon Harley looks set to seal a move to Bristol City before the January transfer window closes.
Bristol suffered a 0-6 drubbing in the Severnside derby with Cardiff City on Tuesday night and boss Gary Johnson is eager to bolster his defensive options, with Harley believed to be his number one target.
Watford need to reduce their wage bill and trim their squad as they continue to battle financial worries and the Hornets are believed to be willing to allow Harley to leave.
