Hogg relief for Hornets

Watford have received a boost with the news Jonathan Hogg did not suffer serious injury at the weekend.

The midfielder was on the end of an ugly challenge from Middlesbrough's Stephen McManus which forced him off just after half-time in the 2-1 victory. But Hornets head of medical Dave Hart told the club's official website: "There's no break, that's the most important thing to report. "Jonathan has sustained some severe bruising to his shin bone but we expect to be able to manage that through."
