Mackay stays positive
Watford, 15:56, January 21, 2010 ,
Watford boss Malky Mackay claims he is unconcerned by the Hornets' win-less streak as he feels performances have improved.
The last time Watford picked up three points was back in December when they ran out 3-1 winners against QPR.
Since then the Hornets have drawn against the likes of Nottingham Forest and Bristol City, but have been beaten by Derby, Peterborough and Doncaster as well as being dumped out of the FA Cup by Chelsea.
MacKay is now hoping Watford can pick up all three points when his side travel to Blackpool on Saturday.
He said: "We simply need to win games,
"But they are a young group and I look at the performances against Nottingham Forest and Bristol City and I thought we played well and deserved to win those games. A draw would certainly have been a reasonable result at Peterborough.
"I am more disappointed with the performance (against Doncaster) than about the run of games."
