McGinn making progress

Stephen McGinn may have put himself in contention for final-day involvement against Middlesbrough following another 90-minute run-out for Watford's reserves.
Two weeks after completing his first match, the midfielder again lasted the duration without any ill-effects as the Hornets' second-string saw off Stevenage 1-0 on Tuesday. McGinn has steadily been building up his fitness over recent months having suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury at Doncaster in February of last year. That was the Scot's last first-team action but, although not yet ready to start, he could now possibly find himself on the bench at Vicarage Road on Saturday and in the frame for a late cameo against Boro. Otherwise, manager Sean Dyche will look to build McGinn's fitness further over the summer in preparation for next season. Watford first-team coach Tony Loughlan told the club's official website: "Stephen McGinn got his second 90 minutes and he's coming along nicely."
