Watford return could fit Jackett

Watford, 17:33, November 19, 2008

Watford may turn to former player and manager Kenny Jackett again to revive their Championship fortunes, according to reports.

The Millwall manager is on a shortlist including Chelsea reserve-team coach Brendan Rodgers, Barnsley chief Simon Davey and current caretaker-boss Malky Mackay to succeed Aidy Boothroyd at Vicarage Road.

Mackay, who was assistant to Boothroyd, has been told he will be in charge for the games against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday and at Bristol City three days later.

However, Watford officials hope to get the interview process underway soon and an appointment could be made before the clash with Doncaster on November 29.
