West Brom striker Shane Long insists he has no axe to grind with Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton ahead of the clash at the Hawthorns.
Long suffered a broken bone in his knee following a two-footed Hutton challenge at Villa Park in October, resulting in a lengthy-spell on the sidelines for the Republic of Ireland international.
The Baggies frontman has suffered a number of setbacks since, but insists he holds no grudge against the Villa man, as the two Midlands rivals prepare to do battle this weekend.
"He got the ball but he tried to 'leave a bit on me.' Whether he tried to do as much damage as he did, I don't know," Long told the Express & Star.
"I thought I was 'flying,' so maybe he was trying to slow me down.
"But it's all in the past and I've forgotten about it.
"We played Wolves the week beforehand and I felt I was in the best form of my career in that game.
"I took it into the first 15 minutes of the game at Villa and felt really sharp around the pitch.
"I then got the knock, which knocked me back."
