Steve Clark says he is confident Jonas Olsson will still be at West Brom after the transfer window shuts as contract talks continue.
The Baggies have desperately been trying to persuade the Sweden international to stay as he weighs up his future with just one year left on his current contract.
There are plenty of teams interested in the 29-year-old and Olsson has been stalling on his contract negotiations with West Brom as he explores all options.
However, with the conclusion of the summer transfer window fast approaching Clark is growing in confidence that Olsson will decide to stay at the Hawthorns and pen a new deal.
Clarke told the Express & Star: "There has been no indication that Jonas is going to leave us. Over the summer he's worked well, played games and played with his normal 100 per cent commitment.
"He's got a year left on his contract so he's not a free transfer so as far as we're concerned Jonas is under contract and will be with us next season.
"There is nothing that's happened over pre-season to change our mind on that."
