Baggies survival belief
West Bromwich Albion, 15:13, November 20, 2008 ,
Tony Mowbray feels West Brom are on course to survive in the Premier League and has called on his players to ignore the table.
The Baggies currently sit bottom with 11 points from 13 games, with five defeats in their last six matches, but Mowbray is not unduly concerned and feels his squad are on the right track.
Having played, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea in recent weeks, Albion are now looking towards a run of games against teams who are expected to be involved in the relegation tussle - starting with a game at Stoke this weekend.
Speaking to the Mercury, Mowbray said: "When I have a look at it so far there are not many occasions, if I was predicting the season at the start, that I would give us many more points than we've actually got.
"Over the course of the season I'm pretty sure I would predict us with enough points to make sure we stay safe.
"For me there is only Hull City at home where I would have hoped to have got more from the game than we did."
