Bednar - I'm not coming back

West Bromwich Albion, 13:22, November 26, 2010 , | 2 Comments

Roman Bednar has declared that he wants a permanent move away from West Brom following his loan switch to Leicester.

The striker earned a move to the Foxes earlier this week after failing to force his way into Roberto Di Matteo's first-team plans at the Hawthorns so far this term.
He is happy to get the chance for some regular action in the Championship and indicated he wants to sort out a long-term move away from the Baggies as he feels the Italian coach has "no confidence" in him anymore.
He said: "Once the manager let me go, my vision was not to return to West Bromwich. I don't feel confidence in me from him anymore.
"At the moment I just want to be happy and play regularly. I think I have made the right decision.
"This loan has been settled so that I don't warm the bench. I will be doing my best and believe I will gain ground at Leicester.
"The team is of a high quality and, in my opinion, should be somewhere else in the table."
Di Matteo admitted a loan move for now was the best possible solution for all parties involved.
He said: "He hasn't figured in our team much and I think it is always best for the players to go and play rather than just play reserves games.
"That's the way we have to work to balance certain things."
