Boss to splash a little cash

West Bromwich Albion, 11:23, November 11, 2008 ,

Tony Mowbray has admitted players may have to leave West Brom to fund his January spending spree.

The boss will not be looking to make wholesale changes to his squad, although he would like to add some quality if he can and is looking to offload some of his fringe players in order to generate some money to spend.
Mowbray told the Birmingham Post: "We had a meeting and the outcome was that January will hopefully be a time for improving the squad and trying to find the right players who can improve our side.
"I dont think we'll be spending £20million in January but we have a scouting system working hard to improve the squad at the right price.
"There are some players we may move on to try and pay for the players who can come in to improve the squad."
