Brunt urges Reid purchase

Chris Brunt has urged the side to make a move to bring Steven Reid to the club in the summer on a permanent basis.

The on-loan Republic of Ireland international is on loan at the club after an injury hit spell at Blackburn and Brunt is urging the board to make it a permanent deal in the summer.
Brunt told the Express and Star: "Steven can definitely help us in the Premier League. Since he's been here he's been a top man. He's a great lad as well and all the boys have taken to him.
"I know he's had bad injury problems over the last few seasons but he has got Premier League experience and given us that calmness in situations when a younger player might have lost it.
"Players like that are definitely the sort we need in the Premier League."
