New Birmingham boss Lee Clark has confirmed that talks are ongoing over a possible deal to take Ben Foster to West Brom.

The former Huddersfield manager was officially unveiled as Chris Hughton's successor at St Andrew's on Wednesday morning and immediately lifted the lid on possible summer outgoings from the Championship outfit. Clark insisted that much sought after youngsters Nathan Redmond and Jack Butland are a big part of his plans and it would take 'crazy' money to entice the club into selling either. However, Clark has hinted that former England international goalkeeper, Foster, who spent a successful season on loan at West Brom last term, seems to be closing in on a return to the Hawthorns under the leadership of new manager Steve Clarke. "There's been dialogue with WBA over Ben Foster, that's been well known, we can see how that develops over the next few weeks," he told Sky Sports News.
