Defender linked with exit

West Bromwich Albion, 10:12, February 16, 2009 ,

West Brom's Marek Cech is still a target for Celtic boss Gordan Strachan after failing to land regular football at the Hawthorns.

The Slovakian international has been on Strachan's radar in the past and is said to be at the top of his summer shopping list after he missed out on the defender on transfer deadline day in January.
Baggies boss Tony Mowbray has hinted that he may allow the player to move on from the club in the summer after he failed to settle in following a £1.4m move last July.
Paul Robinson stands in Cech's way of a regular berth in the side so a move looks to be on the cards, with Cologne and Napoli also said to be interested.
