West Brom have been linked with NEC Nijmegen defender Bram Nuytinck, but they will face competition for his services.
New Baggies boss Steve Clarke is set for discussions with both Jonas Olsson and Gabriel Tamas this summer and will step up his interest in Nuytinck if it becomes apparent the duo are planning to move on. Olsson has just one-year left on his current deal and has indicated he is ready to leave after four years at the Hawthorns. He is set to hold talks with the Baggies after his Euro 2012 campaign with Sweden, while Tamas is also expected to seek talks with Clarke before making a decision on his own future. If either Olsson or Tamas decide to go, Clarke is expected to make a move for 22-year-old Nuytinck, but the Baggies will face competition from across Europe. Dutch giants Ajax have been credited with an interest in the centre-half, while German outfit Borussia Monchengladbach and Italian pair Juventus and Napoli are all thought to be interested in Nuytinck.
