West Brom midfielder Graham Dorrans has returned to training for the first time since breaking his metatarsal in May.
He will not be fit enough for tonight's pre-season clash with Shrewsbury but the fact he is back in full training is good news and he should be ready for pre-season action in the near future.
Elsewhere, Simon Cox is a doubt for the game tonight after picking up an ankle injury and the club are unlikely to take a gamble on their new £1.9m signing.
