West Brom are pondering a move for Bolton keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen in the summer when his contract expires at the Reebok Stadium.

The 37-year-old stopper has fallen out of favour at Bolton with youngster Adam Bogdan dominating the keeper's jersey this season. The Trotters are keen to tie him down to a new two-year deal, but there is every possibility he could move on and the Baggies, West Ham and QPR are on red alert. West Brom are hoping to tie up a deal to keep loan keeper Ben Foster by signing him on a permanent deal but they remain in negotiations with Birmingham City over the transfer. The St Andrew's outfit may be unwilling to do business if they are promoted back to the Premier League themselves, leaving West Brom with a massive hole to fill. West Ham keeper Robert Green may also move on and, with Southampton and Reading filling the automatic promotion positions, it seems unlikely that both the Hammers and Birmingham will come back up, leaving either Green or Foster looking for a Premier League club.
