West Brom are being linked with a swoop for Tottenham left-back Danny Rose, who is available on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old has struggled to win a regular place in the Spurs first-team and looks set to leave on loan to get some games under his belt next season, but a decision will only be made when a new boss is appointed at White Hart Lane. New Baggies boss Steve Clarke is thought to be keen on the player as there is a void in the left-back spot at the Hawthorns following Nicky Shorey's release last month. Rose has been at Spurs since 2007 when he arrived from Leeds United and Spurs were hoping he would have made a breakthrough by now so could be willing to cash in. Newcastle have also been linked with a move for the England under-21 international, who has had previous loan spells at Watford, Peterborough and Bristol City.
