Striker recalled to Hawthorns

Crystal Palace have suffered a blow on the striker front with the news that Craig Beattie has been recalled by West Brom.
The Baggies have lost their number one striker Ishmael Miller to a cruciate knee ligament injury and their boss Tony Mowbray has recalled the Scottish international.
Eagles boss Neil Warnock had made it clear he would like to sign the striker on a permanent basis when the transfer window opened in the new year but that prospect looks unlikely now.
Warnock will certainly miss his abilities as he has scored five goals in 15 championship appearances for Palace since arriving at the club at the end of September.
