Surplus striker set for exit

West Bromwich Albion, 14:45, September 5, 2010 , | 2 Comments

West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo has revealed striker Luke Moore is available for a loan deal after omitting him from his league squad.

Moore was left out of the Baggies 25-man Premier League squad, meaning he is unable to play for West Brom until January when managers can make revisions to their line-up.
Di Matteo has now revealed Moore will be available for loan as the Football League loan transfer window reopens on Tuesday.
"Towards the end of last season, he wasn't involved as much. I had to make a decision," the West Brom boss said.
"Obviously he wasn't full of joy about it.
"The fact he can't play for us until January means it would be better for him if he went out on loan and plays football, rather than just training."
The Baggies boss revealed that there had already been some interest in the striker, although there have been no firm offers.
He added: "We've had some enquiries - but nothing concrete."
