Tchoyi's central role bid

New signing Somen Tchoyi has revealed that he is looking to secure a place in the centre of West Brom's midfield this season.

The Cameroon international recognises that he faces a real challenge to earn a first-team spot in boss Roberto Di Matteo's side in the Premier League this term.
Having made his debut as a substitute in a wide right role at Liverpool last weekend, Tchoyi insists he is happy to play in any position but would prefer a crack in the middle of the park for the Baggies.
He told Express & Star: "I am a player for the team. I will play wherever the coach wants me to play, except in goal!
"I hope I can play more centrally so I can be more involved in the game. But I will let the coach do what he wants to do.
"He is the main man and he knows where to put players."
