Sam Allardyce admits West Ham will have to take their medicine if they end up in the play-offs.
The Hammers' bid for automatic promotion suffered a major blow when they were beaten 4-2 by second-placed Reading on Saturday. They are now four points behind the Royals and although Allardyce feels six wins from their final six games will see them promoted, he is ready to take the long route back to the Premier League if required. "If that is the case, we will have to go and win it, won't we?" said the Upton Park boss. "If we do get the disappointment, we can't let that spill over into the play-offs, if that is where we end up. "But there are still six games to go - and six games to win. Win all six and we will go up."
