Axe falls at Boleyn Ground

West Ham United, 10:00, November 23, 2010 , | 2 Comments

West Ham assistant boss Zeljko Petrovic has paid the price for the Hammers' dreadful form and has been axed from the club.

The number two from Montenegro is said to have failed to win over the players at Upton Park after he was brought in during the summer ahead of both coaches Paul Groves and Kevin Keen.
He dismissal paves the way for a return to the club for fans' favourite Paulo Di Canio or former player Steven Lomas as the new number two to assist the under-pressure boss Avram Grant.
Owners David Gold and David Sullivan are considering a number of backroom changes and there is talk of both attacking and defensive coaches being brought in to help out Grant.

I think the owners made a big mistake appointing Grant. they will obviously remove others to save face

Problem stems from the top, get Avram out and get someone who knows what they are doing in.
