Cole on standby for Hammers

Carlton Cole is in contention to make a first-team return for West Ham on Sunday against relegation-threatened Middlesbrough.
The striker has been out for six weeks because of a groin injury picked up on England duty against Slovakia but is back in the frame for the Hammers.
Dean Ashton (ankle) and Valon Behrami (knee) will not play again before next season, while defender James Tomkins is suspended after being sent off in the defeat against Everton last weekend.
