Daprela eyes Chelsea clash

West Ham United, 11:57, March 10, 2010

Reserve team skipper Fabio Daprela is pushing hard for a start for the Hammers when they face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Switzerland under-19 star has been outstanding in recent weeks and he again led the second string well as they went down by a goal to nil against the MLS side San Jose Earthquakes recently.
The left back is now hoping he has done enough to break into Gianfranco Zola's side for the clash at Chelsea on Saturday.
He told the club's website: "It's a dream when I can play at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, but we don't know if that will happen. On Saturday, we will see what the manager does.
"I'm always ready when the manager wants me to play and I'm happy."
