Duo staying put - Zola

West Ham United, 15:41, May 27, 2009 ,

West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola has ruled out summer moves for experienced defenders Lucas Neill and Mathew Upson.

Speculation has been rife that some of the club's top stars have played their last game for the Hammers, but Zola remains adamant that he will be keeping his stars including Neill and Upson.
Asked whether Neill had played his last game for the Hammers, Zola was defiant: "No, I don't think so. Hopefully not, I think in the next few days there will be meetings and something positive will happen."
He was equally bullish on Mathew Upson's future, adding: "It looks to me that Matthew is very happy here and wants to stay and so it shouldn't be an issue for us."
