Dyer set for Town return?

Ipswich Town are eyeing a loan move for Kieron Dyer as he looks to get playing again after an injury-plagued two years at West Ham.
The former England international has turned out just six times for the Hammers since joining the club from Newcastle in 2007.
He suffered a double fracture of his right leg in a League Cup tie against Bristol Rovers just days after winning his 33rd cap for his country.
Dyer started his career at Portman Road and for three years was first-team regular before his big-money switch for £6.5m to the north east.
Town owner Marcus Evans is prepared to back manager Roy Keane with the funds needed to take the team away from the Championship's relegation but the midfielder's wages could prove a stumbling block.
Despite his fitness problems, Dyer remains one of the Hammers' highest paid stars earning in the region of £60,000 a week and he does still have two years to run on his contract at Upton Park.
