England can thrive with Carroll - striker
West Ham United,
Striker Ricardo Vaz Te believes the return of Andy Carroll to the England set up could lead them to World Cup glory.
The on loan Liverpool striker is just returning to the side after weeks out with a hamstring problem and Vaz Te believes he could be key to England's future, if he used properly by boss Roy Hodgson. Sam Allardyce believes Carroll is way short of fitness but Vaz Te says he should be asked if he is fit to play against San Marino and Poland. "[Carroll's] great to have back. He's such a handful. He is an England striker," he told reporters. "I'm not sure if he's back in time [for San Marino and Poland] - that's for Roy to prove. He [Carroll] proved for us that when he is fit he is ready. We have one more game, hopefully, that will show [it too]. "Give him a call - a player will know if he is ready."
