West Ham could be on the verge of landing top target Matt Jarvis from Wolves after making a fourth offer worth up to £10m.
The Black Country outfit have been determined to keep their star players this summer, unless their valuation of the players is met, but the Hammers appear to be close to that figure.
Their latest offer is thought to be worth £7m up front with further add-ons possibly taking the deal to a whopping £10m which is thought to be the valuation that Wolves are after.
Jarvis played in Wolves' 3-1 win over Barnsley on Tuesday night, but after the match their manager Stale Solbakken indicated a deal could be on the cards.
"It's on the top political level now because every player has a valuation and if that valuation is matched I'm in the discussion," he said.
"It's not my money so someone will make a final decision. I don't know if the two clubs are still talking.
"I've had my say and the final call will be taken. We do it together and we'll do the best for Wolverhampton."
