West Ham duo James Tomkins and Mark Noble have been named in the PFA npower Championship Team of the Year.
Centre-back Tomkins and midfielder Noble have been recognised by their fellow professionals after making significant contributions to the Hammers' promotion push. Academy product Tomkins, 23, has scored four goals from defence in 42 league appearances, while also impressing with his strength and composure in possession. Noble, the east London club's longest-serving player at just 24, has scored eight goals in 43 league games this term. Sam Allardyce's men, already guaranteed a play-off berth, need to beat Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Monday evening to stand any chance of leap-frogging Southampton into the final automatic promotion place.
