West Ham are set to receive a big boost following the news that Thomas Hitzlsperger could make his debut against Chelsea.

The Hammers, who are pointless from their first three matches, are set to take on the Blues next weekend and Avram Grant could hand the former Villa midfielder his first start as returns from a thigh injury.
The free agent got injured playing for Germany just three days before the start of the season and has been sidelined since with the problem.
Grant will be desperate to have Hitzlsperger available for the visit of the Premier League champions as he looks for the Hammers' first points of the season.
Hitzlsperger, along with West Ham's seven other summer signings, finds himself in the Hammer's 25-man Premier League squad, along with Lars Jacobsen who only just made it in after completing his move from Blackburn on Wednesday.

West Ham squad: Ruud Boffin, Robert Green, Tal Ben Haim, Manuel Da Costa, Daniel Gabbidon, Herita Ilunga, Lars Jacobsen, Winston Reid, Jonathan Spector, Matthew Upson, Luis Boa Morte, Valon Behrami, Jack Collison, Kieron Dyer, Julien Faubert, Thomas Hitzlsperger, Radoslav Kovac, Mark Noble, Scott Parker, Pablo Barrera, Carlton Cole, Zavon Hines, Benni McCarthy, Victor Obinna, Frederic Piquionne

West ham need to sort themselves out. Bottom of the league, loads of debt and a shit squad. They're main rivals now days Fulham and even fulham fans would consider themselves better than the whammers - QPR are the next london club to overtake you... embarrassing!
