West Ham are expected to have scouts in attendance when Stephen Appiah runs out for Ghana tonight against Tunisia.
The midfielder has been without a club since leaving Fenerbahce in August and although the 26-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs he has yet to land a move.
As well as West Ham, Middlesbrough and Newcastle are also in the hunt for the player and will run the rule over him.
"I am training with Brescia at the moment," he told skysports.com.
"I am happy with my form but I need to get the match fitness, apart from that I am fine.
"I would like to thank my national coach for giving me the chance to play the game against Tunisia
"I heard there will be scouts from Germany and England, I need a football club and very soon I will sign, very soon."
