Tevez affair trundles on

West Ham United, 10:19, November 12, 2008

West Ham have been told the Carlos Tevez affair will trundle on after a High Court judge said there would be no decision for weeks.

West Ham are trying to take their legal fight to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, while Championship side Sheffield United are trying to get a permanent injunction.

At a hearing on Tuesday, High Court Judge Nigel Teare told the clubs he will not make a decision until just before Christmas. Until that ruling there will be no attempt by either side to take the matter further with CAS.

Meanwhile, there will be no decision on the level of damages the Bramall Lane outfit can expect until mid-March.
