Valon in positive mood

West Ham midfielder Valon Behrami is making good progress from his cruciate knee ligament problem and is hoping to return in August.
The Swiss international is almost certain to miss the start of the campaign but he is hopeful of being back in full training by August, after picking up the injury in the home win over Manchester City on March 1.
Behrami told the official website: "My work is going very well and if I continue like this on 10 August I will start back with the team, try to kick the ball and join in with my team-mates.
"After two or three weeks working at a high intensity, in the last week of August I hope to be back in the team for a game."
