Young star set for international bow

West Ham youngster Jack Collison is set to make his full Wales debut in Wednesday's friendly against Denmark.

Having broken into the Hammers first-team at the end of October, the 20-year-old has featured in the last four games - scoring in the 3-1 home defeat by Everton.

Despite his lack of senior experience, Collison is set to benefit from a number of injury problems to gain his first start for his country when Wales face Denmark in Brondby.

The midfielder is expected to be joined by fellow Hammers James Collins and Craig Bellamy in John Toshack's starting eleven.
