Zola hoping to sort futures
West Ham United, 11:58, May 26, 2009 ,
West Ham manager Gianfanco Zola is confident skipper Lucas Neill and goalkeeper Robert Green will commit their futures to the club.
Australian international Neill, who has interested Greek club Olympiacos recently among several unnamed Premier League sides, is expected to stay at Upton Park after holding talks with Zola.
"There will be meetings in the next few days with Neill," said the boss. "I am confident something positive will happen."
The Hammers boss plans to speak to many of his first-team stars about their futures this week in the wake of the season finale on Sunday against Middlesbrough and he is confident the majority will indicate they want to stay.
England international Green is another player Zola is desperate to get to commit himself to the club despite interest from elsewhere.
