West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola is confident he can lead his struggling side out of their current slump.
The Hammers have failed to register a victory in six matches and Zola admits he is facing a tough challenge to turn things around at Upton Park.
However, the Italian is confident he and his players will react well and things will improve soon.
"I have had low moments in my career, bad moments but I have reacted always very well and I am doing the same here," the former Chelsea star said.
"I won't let myself down and I won't allow anybody to do that."
Zola was particularly annoyed at the way his side let a 1-0 lead slip late on to lose 3-1 at home to Everton last weekend but, after holding a meeting with the players, he thinks there will be a positive reaction.
"We had a chat and confrontation and I think that was a positive thing, and now on the pitch we will see whether it gives us positive results or not," he added.
"We are aware of the situation. We know what we need to improve if we want to end matches on the winning side instead of the losing side.
"The players believe in that and they want to react and sort out the situation. That is encouraging."
