Man City, Wigan and Portsmouth are among a clutch of Premier League clubs being linked with £10m-rated Lens striker Aruna Dindane.
The Ivory Coast international is currently recovering from knee surgery and is not expected to play until well into the autumn, but he is unlikely to be short of options.
As well as City, Latics and Pompey, Man Utd and Fulham have also been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old who represented his country at the last World Cup.
Reports also claim Lyon, Nancy and St Etienne want to keep the forward in France.
Dindane spent five seasons with Belgian outfit Anderlecht before joining Lens three years ago.
