Boyce expects Latics response

Emmerson Boyce believes the players will this week seek to correct the mistakes which saw them lose at Fulham.

After victories over top-three sides Manchester United and Arsenal, Roberto Martinez's side slipped to defeat at Craven Cottage. The Latics are still three points clear of the relegation zone but with Newcastle visiting on Saturday, Boyce knows the squad are determined to rediscover their impressive form. "It's going to be a massive week for us in training, because we know we've set the standard for ourselves and we didn't live up to that at Fulham," he told the Wigan Evening Post. "It's not all doom and gloom though. If you look at the table we're still in a great position to be able to kick on and finish the season well."
