Bramble targets Carling upset

Wigan Athletic, 12:37, November 11, 2008 ,

Titus Bramble has urged his Wigan team-mates to relish the chance to knock Arsenal out of the Carling Cup.

Latics, who are certain to be without injured star striker Emile Heskey, are likely to face an Arsenal side brimming with emerging young talent at the Emirates.
Henri Camara is favourite to partner Amr Zaki up front and centre-half Bramble believes Latics can pull off a shock in north London.
He said: "This is a game you really want to play in as the stadium will be full and Arsenal are a huge club.
"It might be their reserves who play, but they have shown what very good players they are - they beat Sheffield United 6-0 in the last round.
"Maybe not many people expect us to win at Arsenal, but we can play without any fear.
"Last season we held them to a 0-0 draw at our place, while they only scored two late goals to beat us there. If we play to our potential, there's no reason why we can't win."
