El Zamalek have confirmed that Manchester City will hold talks with the Egyptian club over the transfer of Wigan loan ace Amr Zaki.
The striker has made an excellent start to life in the Premier League, scoring eight goals in his first seven games.
Latics manager Steve Bruce has said that the club have an agreement in place with El Zamalek to be the principle club in signing Zaki at the end of his loan spell.
However, the 25-year-old's club have released a statement to the contrary which confirms they will hold talks with City.
The statement from the Egyptian outfit read: "A Zamalek delegation will fly to either Manchester or Abu Dhabi, not determined yet, to hold talks with City representatives over Zaki."
